Thank you so much for making the pdf version available.

I was so worried when I looked at Amazon for your book today.

Maybe put a note about the pdf version being available in your author bio at

    http://www.amazon.com/Mark-D.-Wolfinger/e/B001ITTT2W/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_pop_1

Please consider using the pdf to create an Amazon Kindle version, so Amazon will show that Kindle version being available when people search for the title on Amazon.

As electronic versions of books now outsell paper versions, I don’t think you will regret it.

Given the prices currently quoted on Amazon for the paper book, if you have some spare paper copies, you might consider selling them through Amazon Marketplace.

You might also consider getting extra income from this digital version of your book by offering to make it available on Safari Books Online – http://www.safaribooksonline.com/

You can view “Why trade options?” there.

If you want to look around this web-based collection of books, they offer a free trial. Click “sign in” at top right and then click “free trial”.

If you’d like someone else to print and put a paper version of your book in the mail to new customers, you can upload the digital pdf version to Lulu and they’ll handle everything for you.

    http://www.lulu.com/

Your book is too important to be out of print and unavailable, even for one day.

Getting it on Kindle will be the fastest way to overcome the current unavailability through Amazon.

    Kind regards,
    KC

I’m considering a purchase of your book but would like to know if the pdf ebook is a viable alternative for use on Kindle? I have found that although Kindles can display pdf files, the formatting choices such as font size are limited.

Perhaps the pdf is intended more for pc’s and tablets?

Have you received feedback re the pdf on Kindle?

    Thanks

      Don,

The Rookies Guide in .pdf looks exactly the same as the book.

However, I uploaded it to my Kindle and the small screen size limits the books readability.
I do not suggest buying the e-book if you plan to read it on a kindle. Obviously it works well on a computer.

      Thanks for the inquiry

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for this wonderful book. I enjoyed reading it in Google Books preview.

I now wish to buy it as I can’t wait to complete reading it, As you mentioned that you have a pdf version available i.e. First Edition.

    a) Just wanted to clarify if the version in Google books is your first version / Second version.

    b) if it is first, can you list some of significant changes for which beyond second edition is a better choice.

    c) If I pay via paypal, how soon can I expect delivery to my ID.

Again, this is an awesome book. I come with little knowledge on stock market & lost fair bit of money. After reading the book, I realized why I was always ending up in loss. Definitely I would suggest your book for all rookie’s. A must have book.

    Regards,
    JB

sorry, Just wanted to rephrase point b

      b) if it is first edition available in Google books, can you list some of the changes for which buying second edition is a much better choice.

I would love to buy the second edition, Always extra is good. Do you have pdf of second version ? Is it available in Amazon ? or Can I order from your blog.

One Last Question: Do you recommend any advanced book after I complete rookie’s guide ?

        Hello Jey,

The 2nd edition is not currently available as an e-book version.

I recommend Natenberg: Option Volatility & Pricing. It is NOT a beginner’s book, so get it an appropriate time.

    Hi Mark,

I got the 2nd edition from Amazon.

I found the Quiz 1 questions for Chapter 1 don’t make sense — it’s as if there’s a graph missing or the like. I noticed one reviewer on Amazon noted he had the same issue. Thoughts?

    Many thanks

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I am following up with you via private e-mail. I want to resolve this and fix any problems.
